Environmental Enforcement Outlook in China for U.S. Companies

On October 19, join Winston & Strawn Partner and International Trade Practice Chair Cari Stinebower as she moderates a webinar titled “Environmental Enforcement Outlook in China for U.S. Companies.”

The online event will feature a panel of lawyers and academics—including Winston & Strawn Partner Jonathan Brightbill and Yuanda Partner Leon Liu—covering key distinctions between U.S. and Chinese environmental law and regulation, examining the latest changes to Chinese environmental laws and enforcement practices, addressing developments in both prosecutor (government)-leg Environmental Public Interest Litigation (EPIL), as well as “punitive damages”  obtained by Non-Governmental Organizations in China, and discussing implications for multinational companies, including ESG obligations and compliance requirements.
